He was predeceased by: his parents, Leopoldo Castro and Consuelo Castro (Perez); his former wife Antonia "Toni" Hurtado; his wife Antonia Castro; his granddaughter Kristal Tsosie; and his siblings, Raphael Castro, Alicia Castro, Oscar Castro, Guillermo Castro, Abigail Castro, Leopoldo Castro and Beatriz Garcia.
He is survived by: his children, Hilda McNamara (Dennis) of Flushing, Consuelo "Connie" McNamara (Mark) of Benzonia, Beatriz "Bea" Castro-Leeman (Bruce) of Sarnia and Ontario; his grandchildren, Monica Toombs (Kelly), Sarah Lutze (John), Dawn Muma, Andrea Baumgart (Daniel), Mark David McNamara (Carmen), Michael David Castro (Julia) and Kayla Tsosie; his son Kristopher Tsosie (Marcie); his great grandchildren, Samantha, Alexus, Juleana, Devin, Tyler, John David, Savannah, Analisa, Joey, Blake, Mario, Caleb, Aiden and Jayden; his great great grandchildren, Lylah and Isaac; his extended family, Jahki, Bella, Jakhyla and Khyrei; and his sisters-in-law, Paula Castro and Marion Padilla. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
