She was predeceased by: her parents, Lindsey Tibbs and Mamie Gibbs Tibbs; her husband Bobby Penrod; her sister Geraldine Patterson (Kirby); her brother-in-law Junior Penrod (Esther); and her siblings, Vernon Tibbs, Charlie Tibbs, Bill Graves, Leon Graves and Donna Bishop.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Penrod, Jr. of Flint, Ricky Penrod (Mary) of Swartz Creek and Cheryl Edwards (Wade) of Critz, VA.; her grandsons, Jeffrey Penrod (Brianna) of Swartz Creek, Jason Penrod (Lindi) of Navarre, FL and Anthony Courtney; and her sister Janice Murray (Frank) of Anna, IL.. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
