She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Caban and Victoria Caban (Kmiec); and her siblings, John Caban (Lottie), Victoria Masty (Andrew), Alex Caban (Mary) and Annie Kurtz (Fred).
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Gerard of Mary's Catholic Church; and her sister Genevieve Wing. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Rossell Funeral Home (307 E Main St, Flushing, MI 48433). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Robert Catholic Church (310 N Cherry St, Flushing, MI 48433).
