She is survived by: her children, Rusty White (Linda Melody) and Andrea Kuhlman (Jason); her grandchildren, Jenna Strunk (Trenton), Josie Kuhlman, Jake Kuhlman, Jason Melody and Kristyn Pierce; her great grandchildren, Lydia and Colin; and her brothers, Daniel Thayer (Sandra) and Jerry Thayer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins; and a number of loving friends and wonderful caregivers.

Although so many of us graduated and went our separate ways, I was glad to reconnect with her after so many years. She was one brave and loving person. My friend John and I brought her to one of our high school reunions. Despite her illness and difficulties, she was determined to come. She will be missed by so many.
