With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel L Scallion of Fort Gratiot, Michigan, who passed away on April 21, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Scallion and Vera Scallion; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Hamilton. He is survived by: his wife Mary Schmitt; his sons, Edmund, Christopher (Melanie) and Nicholas Scallion; his granddaughters, Isabella, Sophia and Kriya; and his sisters, Patty "Walnut", Veronica "Wingnut", Lucy "Butternut", Regina "Grapenut" and Carmella "Locknut". He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and coworkers.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Parish - St. Vincent de Paul Society.
