It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph T Banka of Fort Gratiot, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Banka and Caroline Banka. He is survived by : his wife Maggie; his daughters, Anna Leivers (Martin), Frances Kars (Davon) and Caroline Fretenborough (Jonathan); and his siblings, Raymond Banka Jr. (Nancy), Victoria Lumpkins (Robert), Elizabeth Bailey (Steven), Robert Banka and Catherine Christiansen. He is also survived by eight grandsons.
