He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Pettee and Margaret Pettee; his sister Gail Delong (Glen); and his brothers-in-law, Ervin Balhoff, Ron Strickler and Bob Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Avis Balhoff; his children, Ryan Pettee (Melissa), Sarah Pettee, Andrea Astry, Lisa Lynch (Bill) and Lori Meier (Mark); his grandchildren, Shane (Shannon), Will, Brianna, Brienne, Cailyn, Wyatt, Kendra, Leah, Austin, Faith, Amanda (Mike), Tres, Trevor (Ashley), Tyler, Kyle and Korey; his siblings, Terry Pettee (Pam), DJ Pettee and Valerie Sweet; his siblings-in-law, Roy Balhoff (Pat), Rick Balhoff (Liz), Olive Hamilton (Jim), Janet Miller, Rinda Kuempel and Karen Strickler; and his friend Robert Fiedler. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
