He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles McIntyre and Edith McIntyre; his sister Loraine; his brother-in-law Orville Smith; and his brother Raymond McIntyre.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis June Bilger; his children, Gil McIntyre (Lisa), Sharon Loznak (James), Colleen Jergenson (Brian) and Janette Berish (Kenneth); and his grandchildren, Abby Mida (AJ), Nolan McIntyre (Catherine), Benjamin Loznak (Lindsay), Tina Suchecki (Scott), John Carlson, Mitchell Carlson (Anna), Noah Jergenson and Caroline Berish. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
