He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Weimer and Eva Weimer; his brother David; his in-laws, Lee and Lorna Edie; and his brothers-in-law, Dennis and Kurt Edie.
He is survived by: his wife Kay; his children, Lynn Hansson (David), Scott Sattler (Susan Paris) and Peter Karhatsu; and his sisters-in-law, Ann Edie and Karen Lofto (Brian). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
