She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Zuehlke and Dorothy Zuehlke; and her husband Ronald R. Buffington. She is survived by: her sons, Ronald Buffington Jr. (Christine) and James Buffington; her grandchildren, Isaiah Minnie, Isaac Buffington, Madison Buffington, Mikey Mix and James Jr.; and her siblings, Nancy Smith, Victoria Cool (Russell), Jimmy Zuehlke, David Zuehlke and Mark Zuehlke. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jowett Funeral Home (1634 Lapeer Ave, Port Huron, MI 48060). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
