He is survived by: his wife Sally; his children, Mary McClay (Jeffery), Nancy Snider and Patrick McIntyre; his grandchildren, Mary Lynn Gearhart (Jason), Lauren Cavanagh (Brennan), Adam Snider and Sidney McClay; his great grandchildren, Rowan, Cashel and Emer Cavanagh; his siblings, Dave McIntyre (Debbie), Ruth Stanyer (Tom) and Bonnie Hooper (Jack); and his stepsister Penny Carmichael.
