He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Knak and Stella Knak (Martin); his sister Marilyn Knak (Ron Papke) of Burtchville Township; his nephews, Jason Hazelroth (Kam Redlawsk) and Ron Papke (Mariah); his niece Carrie Peters (Marc); his great-nephews, Roy, Scott and Jason; and his great-niece Brooke.
Memorials are suggested to Blue Water Area Rescue Mission in honor of homeless veterans, or Blue Water Recovery and Outreach Center to encourage and support others in overcoming their addictions.
