She was predeceased by : her parents, Floyd Messer and Wava Messer (Fields). She is survived by : her husband Dennis E. Simon; her children, Jeremy Simon (Jen) of Union, KY, Jason Simon (Kim) of Fowler, Jeff Simon (Shelly) of Burleson, TX and Julie Schafer (Nick) of Taylors Falls, MN.; her grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Justin, Noelle, Nash, Travis, Courtney and Bryce; and her brothers, Doug, Gene and Dave Messer.

Memorials will be donated to various local charities.
