He was predeceased by : his parents, Vera Helen Vermillion (Worthington) and John Henry Vermillion; his wife Frances Charlene; and his siblings, Norman, Ed, Bud Mike, Don and Ida. He is also survived by 9 grand daughters, 1 grand son and 6 great grand children.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Herrmann Funeral Home (1005 E Grand River Ave, Fowlerville, MI 48836). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 12:15 PM at the same location.
