He was predeceased by: his parents, Delphin Kirkby and Susan Kirkby; his brother Ed Kirkby (Ed's); his sister-in-law Barb; his sister Sara; his daughter Amanda; and his granddaughter Heather Stice.
He is survived by: his wife Sharron Kirkby (Coe); his children, Allison Warren (Mike) and Joel Kirkby (Lucy); his brother David Kirkby (Judy); his sister-in-law Sherry Hurt (John); his grandchildren, Jamey Warren (Kelsee), Amanda Martin (Jesse), Bonnie Stice (Cole) and Arin Kirkby; and his great grandchildren, Chase, Ashlyn, Hayden, Miles, Sutton and Lively. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the American Legion Post 141 (3265 W Grand River Ave, Howell, MI 48855).
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
