Clare Nuechterlein Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clare Nuechterlein of Frankenmuth, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 26, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Augusta Milbrath Kraegel and Lowell George Kraegel. She is survived by: her husband Christopher A. Nuechterlein; her son Carl Christoph Nuechterlein; her grandchildren, Hailey Nuechterlein and Ethan Nuechterlein; her daughter Anna Clare Nuechterlein Rathmann; her son-in-law Martin Rathmann; her grandchildren, Mary Rathmann and Gideon Rathmann; her brother Fred Kraegel; her sister-in-law Karen; her brother William Kraegel; her sister-in-law Teresa; her brother John Kraegel; her sister-in-law JoAnne; her sister Ann Kraegel Waggaman; and her brother-in-law Paul. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
