Dennis Ellison Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dennis Ellison Sr. of Frankenmuth, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Ellison and Rosemary Ellison; his in-laws, Janet, Patrick Ryan and Nelson Gerhauser, Sr.; and his brother-in-law Robert Ryder.
He is survived by: his wife Tammi; his grandchild Harley; his children, Denny Ellison Jr. of Dallas, TX, Alan Ellison (Katlyn) of Reese, MI, Emily Rush (Mike) of Saginaw, MI and Adam Ellison (Danielle) of Reese, MI.; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Brady Ellison, Layla, Grace, Sadie, AJ Ellison, Corbin, Cameron, Claire Rush, Cadence, Hannah, Maddie, Avery and Christian Ellison; his siblings, Ken Ellison (Sandra) of Kawkawlin, Tim Ellison (Lorri) of Vassar, Tom Ellison (Bonnie) of Caseville, Jerry Ellison (Sue Ann) of Frankenmuth, Gene Ellison (Susan) of Reese and Kathy Ryder of Bridgeport; his siblings-in-law, Jackie Meyer of Florida, Nelson Gerhauser (Sue) of Reese and Mike Gerhauser of Reese; and his aunt Leona Lambert. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Trinity Catholic Church (958 E Tuscola Rd, Frankenmuth, MI 48734). A prayer will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
