He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore VanWormer and Selma VanWormer (Herzog); his siblings, Donald VanWormer and Shirley Schmidt; and the mother of his children Linda Humphrey.
He is survived by: his children, Scott VanWormer of Frankenmuth and Shelley VanWormer of Frankenmuth; his granddaughter Eden Linda VanWormer (Gail Bielskis) of Frankenmuth; and his sister Margaret McCormick of Frankenmuth. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
