He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Rupprecht and Martha Rupprecht (Keinath). He is survived by: his wife Carol Auernhamer; his daughters, Nancy Bauer (Tom), Pati Frank (Mitch), Teresa Gordon (Andy) and Lisa Shrader (Phil); his grandchildren, John Bauer (Sarah), Angela Reinert (Mike), Claire, Seth Gordon, Katherine and Carolyn Shrader; his great grandchildren, Ruben, Autumn and Hannah Bauer; his stepchildren, David Burns (Rachel), Jeffrey Burns (Carina), Terri Owens and Katie Charter; his stepgrandchildren, Eric Burns (Staci), Amanda Kinsey (Matt), Joseph Delagrange, Audriana Knapp (Tim), Jacob Delagrange (Shayla), David Burns, Kayli Burns, Jessica Burns, Daniel Ebert, Cole Charter, Ella Charter, Alianna, Lara, Timothy, Isaac, Asher, Violet, Trey, Ariat and Lio; his siblings, Marguerite Fischer, Edna Reinbold and Melvin Rupprecht (Barb); and his sister-in-law Mary Rupprecht.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Lorenz Lutheran Church (1030 W Tuscola St, Frankenmuth, MI 48734).
