He was predeceased by : his parents, Edwin Bender and Lydia Bender (Loesel); and his brothers-in-law, Leroy Eckert and William Hansen. He is survived by : his wife Beverley Barrett; his sons, Daniel of Bella Vista, AR, David (Kendis) of Vermilion, OH and Mark (Andrea) of Greendale, WI; his grandchildren, Alex (Megan), Eric, Rachel, Ethan, Lauren and Owen; his great grandchild Jamie; and his siblings, Edgar (Janet), Lois Eckert and Lorna Hansen.
