He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Daenzer and Ottilie Daenzer; his siblings, Norman Daenzer (Nancy) and Leona Gugel (Fred); and his brother-in-law Fred Trinklein.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Hecht; his daughters, Adele Hetzner (Jim), Gloria Hecht (Tim) and Donna Haubenstricker (Dean); his grandchildren, Kelly Rupp (Nathan), Amy Miller (Josh), Jeremy Hecht, Joshua Haubenstricker (Lexie), Samuel Haubenstricker and Simon Haubenstricker (Leah); his sister Marie Trinklein; and his brother-in-law Larry Hecht (Char).
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Lorenz Lutheran Church (1030 W Tuscola St, Frankenmuth, MI 48734).
