He is survived by: his wife Judy Bauer; his children, Rhonda Newman (David), Aaron Kern (Sabrina Shepard) and Adam Kern (Alison); his grandchildren, Andrew, Jacob Newman, Gabriel, Laela Kern, Elijah, Ethan, Evan, Ella and Emma Kern; his sister Lorine Nickodemus; and his sister-in-law Carol Kern.
