He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert Johnson and Ann Marie Stromer Johnson; his sisters, Roberta Ann Clark and Virginia Marie Snellgrove; and his brother-in-law Charles "Chip" Sassone.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Sassone Johnson; his children, Jennifer Graham (Gage) of Bay City, MI, James Johnson of Saginaw, MI and Ashley Johnson of Frankenmuth, MI.; his brother John Johnson (Sharon); his sister-in-law Deb Sassone; his cousin Michael Hollingsworth (Glenda); and his sibling's children, Michael Sassone (Lena), Matthew Sassone, Nicholas Sassone (Abby) and Hannah Morris (Garrett). He is also survived by family members and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cederberg Funeral Home (590 N Franklin St, Frankenmuth, MI 48734). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
