Joyce Ann Coon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Ann Coon of Frankenmuth, Michigan, who passed away on October 1, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Damron and Eloise Damron (McClure); and her siblings, Tommy Damron, Carrie Damron, Carolyn of Florida, Peggy Langston, Betty Hill and Marilyn Smith.
She is survived by: her husband David; her children, Monica Smith of Birch Run, MI, David Coon (Amanda) of Falls Church, VA and Jasen Coon (Amy) of Englewood, FL.; her grandchildren, Jacob Coon, Joshua Smith, Logan Coon, Quinton Conzelmann, Ashton Coon, Gage Coon and Madison Smith; and her siblings, Jimmy Damron (Cindy) of Bennett, CO, Terry Damron of Strasburg, CO and Debbie Arndt (Alan) of Washington Township, MI.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center (6063 Fenton Rd, Flint, MI 48507). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (11110 Saginaw St, Mt Morris, MI 48458). A reception will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center (6063 Fenton Rd, Flint, MI 48507).
For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Joyce to the American Legion Post 150 - Auxiliary (990 Flint Street, Frankenmuth, Michigan 48734) or to the animal rescue of your choice.
