He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Theodore Schroeder and Hattie Schroeder (Klettke); his brothers, Lloyd Schroeder and Rev. Ted Schroeder; his grandson Judah Aslan Schroeder; and his sister-in-law Sandy VanderTol.
He is survived by: his wife Beppie VanderTol; his children, Kristin Dittmar (Tim), Nicole Posada (Oscar), Joshua Schroeder (Michelle) and Jeremy Schroeder (Melissa); his sister Joy Dixon; his sister-in-law Margaret Schroeder; his grandchildren, Mykala Evans (Joe), Jayce Dittmar (Kenya Guevara), Mia, Ezra Rose, Micah, Alexandra, Charlotte, Josie Schroeder and Mathias Posada; and his siblings-in-law, Johan VanderTol (Jeannie), Obe VanderTol (Penny) and Elly Nyhof (Randy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
