He is survived by: his wife Alma Schiefer; his daughters, Sandy Braeutigam (Benny), Donna Schaeff (Tom) and Linda Bender (Paul); his son-in-law Bob Engel; his grandchildren, Trina Huffman, Kari Daenzer (Ray), Jill Zeddies (Dan), Rebecca Wynhoff (Matthew), Julie Osborne (Jake), Steve Schaeff (Natalie), Brittany Brunner (JB), Nick Engel (Mackenzie), Lindsey Weiss (Tyler), Matthew Bender (Kelli) and Kelsey Morley (Calvin); his sister Marion Ehrlinger (Edwin); and his sister-in-law Marilyn Hecht.
