It is with sadness that the passing of Richard Whitting of Frankenmuth, Michigan is shared. Richard, born on October 28, 1946, passed away on August 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Whitting and Dorothy Whitting. He is survived by: his wife Debra Wade; his sons, Aaron Whitting of Bad Axe, MI and Todd Whitting of Grand Blanc, MI.; his grandchildren, Cameron Whitting and Amaya Whitting; and his siblings, Janet Drews, Ray Whitting and Bob Whitting. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth Starts (590 N Franklin St, Frankenmuth, MI 48734). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Trinity Catholic Church (958 E Tuscola Rd, Frankenmuth, MI 48734).
