He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hildner and Edna Hildner (Trinklein); his wife Donna; his stepson Kirk Adomeit; his siblings-in-law, JoAnne Foster and Rodger Foster; his niece Linda Foster; and his daughter-in-law Amie Hildner.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Elinor Hildner (Warsaw); his sons, Gregory Hildner (Bridget) of Vassar, MI, David Hildner (Janelle Ruhland) of Frankenmuth, MI and Erik Hildner (Casie) of Thompson's Station, TN.; his daughter-in-law Phyllis Allen (Horace); his stepsister Pauline Luhring (David); his sister-in-law Karen Rummel; and his grandchildren, Christy Adomeit Pratt (Nick), Andrew, Alexander, Adam Hildner (Savannah Comstock), Jordan Reinbold (Danny), Mason Leach (Grant), Reese Hildner (Nick Fisher), Keegan Hildner (Hayley) and Evan Hildner (Alexa). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
