He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Muehlenbeck and Louise Muehlenbeck (Pagel); his wife Patsy Muehlenbeck; his siblings, Russell Muehlenbeck (Joyce), Robert Muehlenbeck and Grace Muehlenbeck; his granddaughter Ashley Muehlenbeck; and his children-in-law, Robert Setzer and Glennie Muehlenbeck.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Setzer, Tom Muehlenbeck, Jr. (Tammy), Marla Janness (Phil), Kim Muehlenbeck and Mark Muehlenbeck; his grandchildren, Mary Wagner (Mike), Rebecca Henry (Steve), Melissa Kirkpatrick, Adam Muehlenbeck (Heather), Rachel Muehlenbeck, Lauren Janness (Joe Wierzbicki) and Hunter Janness; his great grandchildren, Owen, Ella, Ava Wagner, Kennedy Kaiser (Ben), Kylie, Tessa Kirkpatrick, Aiden Cobleigh, Violet, Magnolia Henry, Tristan and Jax Muehlenbeck; his great great grandchild Lanie; and his sister Karren Kelly (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Thomas made significant contributions to the automotive industry, retiring after many years of dedicated service at General Motors.
