Viola Dietzel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Viola Dietzel of Frankenmuth, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2025 at the age of 102. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Viola Dietzel to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gottlieb Weiss and Caroline Weiss; her spouse Glen Dietzel; and her brothers, Richard Weiss (Elva) and Erwin Weiss.
She is survived by: her children, Henry Dietzel (Christine) of Somerset, KY and Gloria Boensch (Larry) of Birch Run, MI; her grandchildren, Paul Dietzel (Kathy), Kevin Dietzel (Megan Flynn), Michael Boensch and Rashelle Boensch (Zach Slusser); and her great grandchildren, Elaina, Alexis and Hannah. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth (590 N Franklin St, Frankenmuth, MI 48734). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
