Willis Veitengruber Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willis Veitengruber of Frankenmuth, Michigan, who passed away on November 23, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Veitengruber and Emilie Veitengruber (Scherzer); his son Neil Patrick; and his sister Loraine Veitengruber. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Beach; his daughters, Jayne McMeans, Carla Roethlisberger (Jerry) and Susan Fresorger (Mike); his grandchildren, Ryan Smith (Stacie), Andrea Beson (Beau), Patrick Smith, Christa Rensel (Adam), Andrew Roethlisberger, Elizabeth Roethlisberger, Rachel Peters (Ryan) and Kevin Fresorger (Sidney); his great grandchildren, Gabe, Dawson, Adriel, Kyleigh, Dusty, Dalton, Shay and Lexi Smith; his grandchildren, Brinley, Kaede, Gareth, Christian Beson, Reed, Riley Rensel, Hudson, Madison, Camden Peters, Ava Fresorger, Nathan, Brittany, Kimberly and Sullivan; his friend Eddie Beyerlein; and his caregiver Suzanne Dubie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Lorenz Lutheran Church (1030 W Tuscola St, Frankenmuth, MI 48734).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wellspring Hospice, St. Lorenz Media Ministry, or the Sylvia Beach Scholarship Fund.
