He was predeceased by: his parents, George Higman and Edna Wyers. He is survived by: his wife Jean Kay Higman (Carter); his stepchildren, Brenda Toppel, Amy Cozart (Todd) and Casey Johnson (Julie); his siblings, Susan Westcott (Dale), Susie Cooper, Bridget Rockwell and Patrick Higman; his grandchildren, Cory Bissell, Zack Bissell, Kyle Toppel (Cecily), Kimberly Parrish (Cam), Taylor Vickers, Olivia Johnson and Ava Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Kaden and Carter Parrish. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jowett Family Funeral Home (7223 South St, Benzonia, MI 49616).
