The family announces the passing of Kay Hommel of Frankfort, Michigan on June 11, 2026. Kay, born on January 21, 1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Franzel (Powlison) and William Marion Dawson; her son-in-law Craig Lunte; and her brother William Earl Dawson (Grace (Hillstrom)). She is survived by: her husband Joseph Palmer Hommel; and her children, Susan Lunte, Diane Doran, Joseph Hommel (Jeanine), Mark Hommel (Ann Kummler) and Douglas Hommel. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
