He was predeceased by : his parents, Milo Gilbert and Kay Gilbert; his parents-in-law, Max and Arlene Elliot; his granddaughter Emma; and his sister Linda Mitchell.
He is survived by : his wife Leslie Jean Gilbert; his children, Jodi Bepler (Tim), Carrie Brydges (Jim) and Rob Gilbert (Amber); his grandchildren, Cory, Brooke, Zach (Shelby) of Toby, JT, Noah, Max and Lucy; his great grandchildren, Charli, Kira and Miles; and his siblings, Karen Knox, Larry Gilbert Rich (Joann) and Bob Mitchell. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.
