He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Warren and Beth Irene Griner (White); and his wife Lavonne Marie Milliron. He is survived by: his children, Linda Bower Jr. (George) of Lake Ann, Mark Griner (Ruth) of Lake Ann and Scott Griner (Jennifer) of Copemish; his grandchildren, Alexandria Bower-Nelson (Matt Nelson) of Kewadin, Dr. Kortney Bower of South Bend and Boyd Griner of Lake Ann; his great grandchildren, Zoey Elizabeth and James Morange Nelson; his sister Barbra Mikowski (James) of Traverse City; and his close friend Jean Bowers of Beulah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Terwilliger Funeral Home (9188 Osmo St, Kaleva, MI 49645). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Raphael Catholic Church (18440 Cadillac Hwy, Copemish, MI 49625).
