He was predeceased by: his parents, Vasa C. Holsinger and Georgiana Holsinger; his son Edwin B. Holsinger; and his brother Donald Holsinger. He is survived by: his wife Louise Holsinger (Lueders); his children, Sharon Gooding (David), Steven Holsinger (Joanna), Jeffrey Holsinger (Sandy) and Thomas Holsinger (Karen); his daughter-in-law Jacqueline Krentz; and his sister-in-law Marjorie Holsinger. He is also survived by grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
