She was predeceased by: her parents, James Durham and Ina Durham; her husband Jimmie Dale Smith; and her siblings, Barbara Kidwell and Jimmie Durham.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherri Smith.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethany Baptist Church (19700 15 Mile Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
