With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lianalaurie Cortez of Fraser, Michigan, who passed away on September 24, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Tatsuo Oishi and Suzanna Oishi (Hall); and her siblings, Sarah, Priscilla and George.
She is survived by: her partner Curly; her sons, Douglas Cortez (Mary) and Joel Cortez; her grandchildren, Kainalu, Christian and Autumn Cortez; and her sibling Donnie.
