She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ide and Julia Ide (Cutorash); and her sibling Culeta. She is survived by: her husband Robert Charles Leahy; her children, Maggie, Robert, Mark Leahy (Alice), Anne DeBruyne (Charles) and Jeff Leahy (Brenda); her grandchildren, Christopher, Lucas, Katie, Emma, Jacob, Amanda, Brittany, Austin and Abby; and her great grandchildren, Sophia, Troy, Evalena, Kyrie and Winter.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Faustina Catholic Church (14025 12 Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48088). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:45 PM at the Infinity Hall (16650 E 14 Mile Rd, Fraser, MI 48026).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be addressed to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
