He was predeceased by: his parents, Djeto Dokic and Mara Dokic; and his sister Maria Juncaj. He is survived by: his spouse Bosiljka; and his children, Vaso Dokic (Lula), Maras Djokic (Vesno), Martin Dokic, Doda Djokic (Djusta), Obren Dokic, Pashka Hikac (Prelja) and Drita Pekic (Anton). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
