He was predeceased by: his wife Bessie; his daughter Vivian Sanner; his grandson Al Sanner II; his great grandchild Ashton; his siblings, John Wesley and Viola; and his children-in-law, Treva Potts, Shirley Potts and Al Sanner.
He is survived by: his children, Jesse Daryl, Pamela Rye (Dennis), Clark (Mary Jo) and David (Heidi).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home (1108 W North Down River Rd, Grayling, MI 49738). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calendar Oakwood Cemetery North Old.
