He is survived by: his fiancée Marilyn Mapes of Free Soil; his children, Michael Bruesch of Free Soil and Nicole; his son-in-law John Tyron of Fountain; his grandchildren, Jessica Bruesch of Manistee, Gage Tyron of Allendale and Nyah Tyron-Mizer (Cameron) of Grand Rapids; his great grandchildren, Magnolia Tyron-Mizer, Lyria Hamilton, Renesmae Hamilton and Braylee Bruesch; and his sister-in-law Jeanne Bruesch. He is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews.
