He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Gutowski and Frances Gutowski (Oleniczak); his daughter Kristen Marie Gutowski; his siblings, Mary (Edward Williams), Florence (Barney Rockwell), Edmund "Mickey" (Cecilia Gutowski), Richard (Shirley Gutowski), Gordon (Maureen Gutowski) and Bill "Valentine" Gutowski; his brother-in-law Bill Tomczak; and his parents-in-law, Miles and Anna Robinson (Moser).
He is survived by: his wife Charotte A Gutowski of Manistee; his son Kenneth; his daughter-in-law Dee Gutowski of Manistee; his daughter Kay Evans of Free Soil; his grandchildren, Erika, Alexandra, Natasha and Jakob Evans; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Tristan, Inari, Ishaia and Julitte; his sisters, Catherine Tomczak of Canton and Jeanette Weaver of Macomb; and his sister-in-law Linda Gutowski of Muskegon. He is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:40 AM at the Herbert Funeral Home (706 Kosciusko St, Manistee, MI 49660). A rosary will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Guardian Angels Catholic Church (371 5th St, Manistee, MI 49660).
