He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Dufon and Dorothy Dufon (Wichtowski); his in-laws, Joseph and Rose Farkas; his grandchildren, Ryan and Rachel Dufon; and his sisters, Dolores Lundberg (Wayne) and Marcellin Marquardt (Eugene).
He is survived by: his wife Karen Farkas; his children, Suzanne Thompson (Collin), Steven Dufon (Kim), Kathryn Roessler (Kirk) and Nicole Slivinski (Dale); and his sisters, Charlotte Showalter (Leonard) and Audrianne Sullivan (Jerry). He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephew, cousins, and many great friends.
A rosary will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the St. John Cantius Catholic Church (2845 E Michigan St, Free Soil, MI 49411). Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at the Fountain Cemetery.
