She was predeceased by : her father Richard Mock. She is survived by : her husband Gary W. Malecke; her daughter Vanessa Brown Hopkins (Christopher "Joe"); her grandson Brayden Brown; her mother Wanda "Joann" Farrand (Oswald); her stepchildren, Carrie Malecke and Grant Malecke; her sisters, Carol Kanarek, Laura Brownell and Cynthia Faraglia; and her friends, Paula and Sammy.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cunningham/Taylor Funeral Homes, Inc. (310 E Washington Rd, Freeland, MI 48623-0362). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
