With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward David Maurer of Freeland, Michigan, born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away on July 9, 2022 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Richard G. and Elaine Maurer (Dubay); his daughters, Joy Dutton (Rodney) and Katie Maurer; his grandchildren, Madison and Lucas Dutton; his siblings, Judi Werkema, Janice Maurer and David Stephens; his close friend Julie Southworth; his friends, Jerry, John, Mario and Sam; and his significant other Gail Rossman (Maurer).
