The memory of Gerald R. Taylor of Freeland, Michigan, who passed away on July 12, 2025 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Taylor and Cecelia G. Taylor (Kelpinski); and his siblings, Elaine Hoffman (Harold) and Arthur Taylor (Doris). He is survived by: his wife Rita Taylor; his children, Kelley, Larry Kummer, Jennifer and Troy Mott; his grandchildren, Christopher, Azucena Mott, Derek Mott, Augusta Kummer, Madison Kummer and Maxwell Kummer; and his great grandchild Alysa Mott.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (4790 Gratiot Rd, Saginaw, MI 48638).
