It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Sue (Davenport) Kania of Freeland, Michigan, who passed away on September 16, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walton Davenport and Donna Davenport (Harris); her son Jonathon Austin Kania II; her siblings, Walton Davenport and Janis Mahler; her nephews, Ricky Poineau Jr., Tyler Krohn, Kristopher Mahler and Eric Davenport; her mother-in-law Jacilene Martin; and her siblings-in-law, Stephanie Kania, Christopher Kania and William Griffore.
She is survived by: her husband Jonathon Kania; her child Kelly Sue Baker (Nicholas); her grandchildren, Nathan, Leah, Jack and Emma Baker; and her cousin Beth Meisel. She is also survived by her sisters and their spouses.
