He was predeceased by: his parents, S. Austin Collins and Esther Collins (Dore); his siblings, Jack Collins and Betty Gary; and his grandson Chris Emeott.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Collins (Ivan) of Brigid's Church; his children, Lorraine Talbot (John) of Midland, Kim Menefee (Dale) of Lakewood, OH, Jackie Kolesar (Gary) of Chicago, IL and Mike Collins (Karen) of Midland; and his grandchildren, David Emeott (Renee), Mike Emeott (Melissa), Jacob Menefee (Amy), Jeremy Menefee, Crysta Gsellman (Lucas), Ryan Kolesar (Rachel), Justin Kolesar, Nathan Collins and Nick Collins.
A rosary was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Agnes Catholic Church (300 Johnson St, Freeland, MI 48623). Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
