We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Larry LaBrake of Freeland, Michigan, born in Saginaw, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father William Edward Arthur LaBrake; and his grandparents, Julius and Elizabeth Martin. He is survived by : his grandson Josh; his sister Marcy Jerome; and also Lorraine LaBrake. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, July 13th 2023 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cunningham/Taylor Funeral Homes, Inc. (310 E Washington Rd, Freeland, MI 48623-0362). A graveside service was held on Friday, July 14th 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens (950 N Center Rd, Saginaw, MI 48638). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cunningham/Taylor Funeral Home (310 E Washington Rd, Freeland, MI 48623-0362).

Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Saginaw Field and Stream Club or the donor's favorite charity.

“Larry was a part of my young life, from ninth grade to marriage in 1973. I loved him, yes, but we were never a good match and I think we both knew that, I will always be enormously grateful to his parents for all the amazing support they gave us as too young marrieds trying to make our way. Bill LaBrake was a saint, and the whole family helped us so much! I realize that now as a parent more than ever. I hope he had a good life.”
